Veteran Egyptian singer Afaf Rady will perform live at the 38th Jerash Festival in Jerash, Jordan, on Saturday, August 3.
She is set to present several of her popular and latest songs.

The festival runs from July 27 to August 6.
The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts is an annual event held in Jerash, Jordan. It is part of the Jordan Festival, which aims to enrich cultural activities in Jordan.
It was founded in 1981 by Queen Noor and features several shows performed by Jordanian, Arab, and international musicians.
The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts constitutes a unique cultural, social, economic and tourist phenomenon with its national, Arab and global dimensions, carries deep cultural and political messages, and plays a major role in revitalizing the financial and tourism movement in the Kingdom in general, and the city of Jerash and its local community in particular.
Born on May 12, 1954, Afaf Abdel Halim Rady was born in Al Mahala Al Kobra one of Egypt’s small cities. She moved to Cairo and worked in children’s plays during the sixties.
Towards the end of the seventies, she started singing romantic and children's songs. She studied music at the Conservatoire when she was 10. She studied piano and finished both her master’s and bachelor’s degree in Arts at the age of 18.
She starred in many plays later on and one movie. She married a physician; Dr. Kamal Kholosy. She sang many songs which are; “Rodoo El Salam”,” Wahdi Aada Fi El Bait”, “Hawa Ya Hawa” “El Nabi Tabasam”, “Taala Gambi”, and many more.
