Jordanian singer Adham Nabulsi disclosed Tuesday that he deleted ten songs from his official YouTube channel.
The announcement comes two days after he announced his retirement from music to worship god.
In a statement, Nabulsi pointed out that he is currently seeking to delete the remaining songs.
He also addressed the uproar that followed his retirement decision and the claims of forbidding art.
The singer pointed out that he talked about something that belongs to him only, noting he was not comfortable and did like anyone who works in any field and does not feel comfortable with it and could not continue in this field.
He stressed that he is not qualified to judge these matters, saying: "I am neither a mufti nor a sheikh... I am a human that makes mistakes and I was judging myself."
