British singer-songwriter Adele dropped Friday "Easy on Me", the first single off her long-awaited upcoming album "30".
The Grammy-winning singer had previously previewed the song to fans on an Instagram Live last weekend.
The song is a heartfelt, piano-driven ballad that depicts the singer's emotional journey.

The video is directed by Xavier Dolan and features Adele in black and white, packing up the same house that she moved in during the 2915 music video "Hello", which was also directed by Dolan.
The footage showed the singer loading up a car with furniture and sheet music, and drives past the "For Sale" sign and down the country road, on her way to a new era.
In her recent interview with Vogue, Adele shared that "Easy on Me" was her way of sorting through her emotions about the split with her former husband Simon Konecki, for both herself and their son, Angelo.
The singer also noted that she sees the "30" album as self-destruction, then self-reflection, and then sort of self-redemption.
"30" is set to debut on November 19.
