Actor Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab Passes Away Aged 61

Egyptian actor, Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab passed away on Sunday, at the age of 61, after a long battle with a disease.

The funeral is scheduled to take place at Al-Sayyida Nafisa Mosque at 4:30 PM.

In June 2021, Abdel Wahab announced that he was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor. He won a one-year fight against lung cancer in 2019.

The late actor was born on December 15, 1955. He was the son of iconic singer Laila Mourad and director Fateen Abdel Wahab.

He graduated from the High Cinema Institute in 1983. Abdel Wahab is best known for his roles in films "Baheb El Cima", "Wahid Saheeh", and "Eskendereya Kaman we Kaman".

The actor was also known for his roles in TV series such as "Ahel Cairo" and "Taraf Talet".

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abdel Wahab was last seen in the 2021 apocalyptic TV series “Covid-25” starring Youssef El Sherif.
