Abul Enein Addresses TICAD 7 in Japan

Mohamed Abul Enein, an Egyptian  industrialist and Vice-Chairman of the Egyptian – Japanese Business Council, said that the African peoples look forward  in more optimal manner toward results of  conference of TICAD 7.

All the African people are holding to partnership with Japan, the ideal partner of the continent.

He praised Japan for setting an example for whole the world in building a modern nation and technical developed experiment.

Abul Enein assured the attendees during his keynote speech to forum of the dialogue between the private and public sectors held on the 2019 Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7) that the African leaders have determined to build the modern Africa within Africa’s Agenda 2063.

President Abdel  Fatah El Sisi and Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan and more than 50 heads of African states ateended TICAD7.

Also some 3000 of representatives and African deluges along with hosts of industrialists and investors appear in that conference.

Africa’s Agenda 2063 seeks to simulate renaissance of countries south Asia.

It maximizes the added value of Africa’s natural and human resources as the continent has all ingredients to achieve development and progress.

Abul Enein explained that the world powers are competing to cooperate with the African states.

Aspirations of the African Peoples as opportunities of trade and investment grow.

He went on to say that Africa has huge resources.

It is the second continent in the world as its area is estimated at 30 million square km.

It is greater than China, India, the USA, Western Europe and Japan together.

More than 65% of Africa’s population is youths.

Abul Enein pointed out that Africa has 500 trillion reserves of natural gas, 134 billion of crude oil and produces 12% of the world product.

Africa also produces 90% of world product of diamond and has 90%, 75 % of the world reserves of platinum and gold respectively.

The continent has 540 million head of cattle and wide areas of idle arable   land.

Abul Enein stated that all those resources offer fat opportunities and real added value to invest in Africa.

Those resources are raw materials and resources of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Abul Enein  affirmed that Africa’s Agenda 2063 for development in Africa, launching continental free zone trade and removing any obstacles reflect Africa’s determination of achieving development and the regional integration.

He praised speech President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at  opening the TICAD 7 because he is interested in private sector as a main partner in development.

 

He assured that President El Sisi takes responsibility of achieving hopes of more than 1.2 billion of the Africans

He, the president, presented four mega projects to upgrade Africa and its peoples to make Africa a unifies economic entity.

Among those projects are Cape Town- Cairo Road which 10 African states to facilitate movement of passengers and goods.

The African states plan to construct a railway line to link the southern parts to northern districts.

Those projects will reflect positively on development in Africa so he invited Africa's international partners to participate in funding those mega projects.

Abul Enein added further that the industrial revolution has kicked of in Africa.

Industry grew significantly in the last two decades.

Inter-continental trade grew by 14% and industry became the second sector attracting investment to Africa.

Some experts expect that Africa will become the major industrial center in the world.
