Egyptologist and journalist Ali Abu Dashish addressed the latest trending rumors about Sphinx, saying that the latest emerged photos for the eye-closed Sphinx are fake and edited by photo post-production software.

He added that upgraded photo editing software was used for producing such Sphinx photos, asserting that the statue is in Giza as it is, without any changes in its nature.

Abu Dashish revealed that it is not the first myth revolving around the statue, which was established during the reign of King Khafre, as several stories of spell and mystery were linked to it.  The Sphinx is always admired by all people around the world who are fascinated by the great Ancient Egyptian civilization.

The Egyptologist highlighted that everyone can visit Sphinx anytime, so, he believed that the latest photos will help in boosting the domestic tourism as hundreds of people will head to the statue to see it, in addition, this will help in raising the awareness towards tourism and archaeology.
