The Ministry of Social Solidarity honored the Abou El Enein Foundation for Social and Cultural Development during the press conference of the “Farhet Masr” (Egypt’s Joy) initiative, in recognition of the foundation’s significant contribution to supporting young people preparing for marriage and assisting Egyptian families.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy, alongside senior representatives of civil society organizations and charitable institutions participating in the initiative.
The foundation was recognized among the initiative’s key partners for its role in advancing the program’s social and developmental objectives. As part of its contribution, the Abou El-Enein Foundation provided support worth EGP 10 million through the distribution of 1,000 shopping vouchers, each valued at EGP 10,000.
The vouchers can be redeemed at "Ceramica Cleopatra" showrooms and are intended to help beneficiaries purchase essential household items and furnishings needed to establish their marital homes.
In addition, the foundation contributed a range of household appliances and home necessities for participating brides, reflecting its commitment to easing the financial burden on young couples and helping them begin married life on a stable footing.
The recognition underscores the foundation’s ongoing role in supporting national development and humanitarian initiatives, as well as its broader efforts to assist vulnerable groups and strengthen Egypt’s social protection framework.
The “Farhet Masr” initiative is one of the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s flagship programs aimed at preparing young men and women for marriage by providing practical support and guidance. The initiative seeks to promote family stability and reinforce the values of social solidarity and community cooperation across Egyptian society.
