Renowned Egyptian actor Abdulaziz Makhyoon has been hospitalized after suffering a health scare.
He is set to undergo medical tests in the coming days to assess his condition.
Makhyoon was admitted to the hospital after suffering a health setback in recent hours.
His family has chosen not to disclose details of his health to avoid causing concern among his fans and friends both within and outside the acting industry.
They called the public to pray for his healing and recovery.
Head of the Actors' Syndicate, actor Ashraf Zaki, gave an update about the veteran actor's health condition.
"He has begun to recover, and is expected to be discharged from the hospital within two days after a full assessment of his health condition," Zaki said in a statement.

Makhyoon will be seen next in the TV series "Efrag".
The cast also stars Amr Saadz Tara Emad, Hatem Salah, Samaa Ibrahem, Mohsen Mansour, Gehad Hossam El Din, Ahmed Abdelhamid, Omar El Saeed, Donia Maher, Alaa Morsy, Passant Shawky, and more.
Ahmed Khaled Mousa directs the series from a script by Naser Abd Elrahman. Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers) is the studio behind the drama.
