Abdel Dayem, Al-Anani Honor Stars of ‘Royal Mummies Parade’ at Opera

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Minister of Tourism Khaled al-Anani honored the talented artists, who presented a mind-blowing performance at the golden parade, at the Opera House.

Abdel Dayem affirmed that the artists who participated in the parade represent one of Egypt’s soft powers, which proves the leadership of the oldest civilizations on the earth.

Moreover, she added that they are a positive image of contemporary creativity, as well as a model for excellence and distinction, stressing that culture and arts are paving the way to sustainable development goals.

The Minister of Culture also thanked the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for his keenness to honor these distinguished artists.

On his part, Al-Anani asserted that the Opera House is the most suitable place to honor those exceptional talents, thanking the Minister of Culture for supporting the magnificent ceremony, as well as the artists for presenting those amazing performances.

Al-Anani stated that the golden parade was mentioned in the front page of all international newspaper, affirming that they outdid themselves when it comes to this unique, cultural, educational and artistic ceremony.

He also emphasized that the ceremony was the best tourist propaganda for Egypt, expressing his desire in organizing another mummies parade in the Opera throughout the year to highlight the Egyptian national identity.

The two ministers presented certificates of appreciation and bouquets of flowers to the artists, who exerted great efforts to introduce this wonderful image which made Egypt the center of attention in every part of the world. The event was in the presence of President of the Egyptian Opera House Magdy Saber.
