In the same context, Cuba approved the vaccine for emergency usage last month.

The three-shot vaccine is capable of competing with other forms of vaccines in the global market such as AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, and Pfizer.

The first clinical trial of the vaccine contained 132 persons aged between 19 and 54 years old. Regarding the second phase, it included 660 volunteers, some of them volunteers aged 80.
