Vertical Entertainment released Thursday the first trailer for the horror movie "Abandoned", starring Emma Roberts.
It also features John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Shannon.
The movie follows the sharply intense lives of Sara (Roberts), her husband Alex (John Gallagher Jr.), and their infant son as they move into a remote farmhouse, which harbors a dark, tragic history.
As the home’s past is revealed, the mother’s fragility escalates to a state of psychosis that jeopardizes her safety and that of her newborn son.

"Abandoned" has been officially given an R-rating for terror, some violent content, thematic material, and brief strong language.
Filmmaker Spencer Squire helmed the project from a script by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott.
The movie is the first of the eight to ten movies set to be released per year by Vertical Entertainment and TPC since their partnership in 2021.
"Abandoned" will hit theaters on June 17.
