A cooperation agreement was signed by the Director of the Library of Alexandria Dr. Ahmed Zayed Professor and Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar; President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
In a statement, Dr. Zaid affirmed Bibliotheca Alexandrina's keenness to establish cooperation relations between it and various Egyptian universities, noting that this cooperation includes activities provided by the library, such as providing opportunities for training, reading, and research, and receiving students and visitors from different universities.
He also pointed out that the library is keen on exchanging knowledge with Egyptian universities, and private universities as well.
Zaid expressed his happiness at signing a cooperation agreement between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, which aims to provide training opportunities for the academy's students in public relations, media, and guidance, and to participate in various activities at the library, in addition to receiving guests of the academy on various occasions.
In turn, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar stressed the importance of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology's new partisanship with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which is a beacon of science and knowledge in Egypt and the world.
