A Palestinian was martyred and 4 others were injured, including 3 paramedics, today, Tuesday, by Israeli occupation forces in Balata camp, east of Nablus.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported - according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" - that the young man, Diaa Hani Abdul Rahman Duweikat (25 years old), was martyred after sustaining serious wounds to the thigh and abdomen during the storming of Balata camp.
The spokesman for the Palestinian Red Crescent, Ahmed Jibril, explained that he received a report of injuries inside a house in the Hashashin neighborhood, and that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching the site.
Jibril indicated that 3 paramedics from the Red Crescent crews were injured by live bullets after being deliberately targeted by the occupation soldiers, despite prior coordination through the International Committee of the Red Cross, while trying to evacuate a number of injuries in Balata camp. Another young man was also injured by live bullets during the occupation forces' storming of the camp.
Israeli special forces stormed the camp, while more reinforcements arrived from the Beit Furik checkpoint and were deployed in a number of the camp's neighborhoods.
