On Tuesday, the El Gouna Film Festival announced that the 8th edition of the festival will take place between October 16 and 24.
The 7th edition featured over 80 films from 40 countries, competing for awards worth more than $230,000.
In addition, the CineGouna platform supported 21 projects in development and post-production phases, with prizes totaling $400,000.
The festival also hosted 20 panel discussions, 9 lectures, and several workshops as part of the CineGouna Bridge initiative.
In an official statement, the festival management affirmed that the 8th edition will continue to build on the legacy of previous editions while offering a richer experience for filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts.
