Eight persons were killed, and more than 300 people were injured in a tragic crowd surge on the opening show of a music festival in Houston, Texas, BBC reported on Saturday.
The accident occurred when crowds started to panic and press towards the front of the stage at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival, authorities revealed.
The total casualties of the accident reached eight killed, 11 persons were transported to the hospital with Cedric attacks, 300 persons were injured by cuts and bruises.
