On her side, the director of the film Noha Adel said that she is pleased that the CIFF accepted the presence of the film in the competition despite its different and revolutionary form.
She added the story of the film is so simple, and she wrote it three years ago. She was inspired by the coming of spring, and how the Egyptians celebrate with spring and its lovely mood. However, she decides to focus on the negative feelings and gloomy Khamaseen storms.
The film discusses real stories, with people who are actors to give the audience natural voices.
The director added that the sounds and voices of the film with their intertwining noise are part of the story.
On her side, Kawthar Younes, the producer of the film, said that this experience inspired her because Adel was a real believer in her project and film.
She added that Adel asked her to act on the first story of the film, asserting that the film also introduced her to new experiences with filmmaking and production.
