On Sunday, "A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things" film was screened at the 45th Cairo International Film Festival.
The film is a documentary feature about an exceptional painter, and artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham whose arts experience widened the horizons of painting, using material, and establishing exceptional ties between crafts, rocks, and colors. She is the only one who knows the relationship between colors, rocks, and socks.
The film scoops the career of Barns-Graham, and her personal experience, including the collapse of Grindelwald glacier which left a spiritual and mental mark in the artist's soul.
The feature links the artist's life and arts by attaching dozens of photos, paint drafts, artworks, and footage.
The film is by Mark Cousins and the title was taken from Barns-Graham's diaries.
