A few months after the 2023 Emmy Awards were held after a strike-related delay comes the 2024 Emmy Awards and a full weekend dedicated to the Creative Arts Emmys on September 7 and September 8 at the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE.

An edited version of both ceremonies will air on FXX at 11 p.m. ET on September 14 and stream on Hulu from September 15 to October 9.

Presenters during both nights included Olympian B-Boy Victor Montalvo, Mike Birbiglia, Nikki Glaser, Lucy Liu, Jane Lynch, Tig Notaro, Fisher Stevens, and Hannah Waddingham.

During the September 7 ceremony, “Beckham” won Outstanding Documentary Series and “Blue Eye Samurai” scored an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program, while “Jeopardy!” picked up its 45th Emmy, for Best Game Show, and Pat Sajak’s final season as host of “Wheel of Fortune” netted him his first Emmy since 1998 (and his fourth win overall).

Maya Rudolph won her fourth Emmy Award as Connie on Netflix’s animated comedy “Big Mouth,” while Alan Cumming won for hosting “The Traitors.” “Jim Henson Idea Man” scored four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Documentary Special.

On the September 8 ceremony, “Shōgun” had conquered most of the Creative Arts Emmys; the FX series won 14 awards, outstripping the 13 award haul that “Game of Thrones” achieved and putting it on course to set a new Emmy record even before the Primetime ceremony begins.

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul enter even more rarified territory, however. Part of the songwriting team that won for Outstanding Music and Lyrics, the pair not only helped “Only Murders in the Building” in one of their four awards wins, but Pasek and Paul have now officially completed their EGOTs.

The 76th Annual Emmy Awards, hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy, will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET, on September 15, and stream the next day on Hulu.
