17th Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Book Fair to Kick Off on July 18

The 17th edition of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Book Fair will take place from July 18 to 28.

The book fair is hosted at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and is held in cooperation with the Egyptian General Book Organization, the Egyptian Publishers Association, and the Arab Publishers' Association.

The event is being held under the slogan "awareness and capacity-building".

The program and cultural content focus on awareness and building the human being.

This year, the book fair hosts 75 cultural events with the participation of more than 300 speakers and lecturers.

The program is considered a cultural festival for the intellectuals of Alexandria in particular and the intellectuals of Egypt and the Arab world in general, as it joins the activities of intellectuals in various cultural fields in Egypt and the Arab world.

The library is keen on having Alexandrian intellectuals in the cultural exhibition program and providing a major space for them as they have confirmed their presence in the cultural arena recently through the Egyptian and international awards received by the creators of Alexandria.

The cultural activities target various fields such as children, women, youth, technology, arts, and literature.

The book fair will host social media influencers and several seminars on women.
