Zimbabwean Minister Hails 'Historic' Ties with Egypt

Zimbabwe Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care Dr. Constantino Chiwenga praised  'historic' ties between his country and Egypt.

This came during a meeting held by Ambassador Salwa Al-Mawafi, Egypt's ambassador Zimbabwe, with Chiwenga.

On his part, the Zimbabwean official expressed his aspiration to continue strengthening bilateral and political relations via activating economic, trade and investment relations and reviving the work of the joint committee between the both countries, Egypt's Foreign Minister posted on 'Facebook'.

Moreover, he called on Egyptian companies to further engage in the health, agricultural, mining and construction sectors in his country, thanking the Egyptian government for its continuous support to Zimbabwe in the field of training, capacity building and exchange of experiences in various fields.

In this regard, the Egyptian ambassador affirmed Egypt's ultimate support for all its brothers in the African continent, led by Zimbabwe, highlighting Cairo's openness to more cooperation and initiatives that achieve prosperity and development for the peoples of the two countries.

In addition, she also thanked the Zimbabwean official for his keenness to push forward bilateral ties between the two countries at all levels.
