I Had Exciting Experience while Playing in Zelzal- El Masry

Egyptian singer-actor Maged El Masry said that he gained a new experience while playing in the Ramadan TV series Zelzal (earthquake).

El Masry added: "I have never had such kind of experience before," saying that he was very pleased with the idea and the role he was playing in the TV series.

El Masry confirmed that the character he acted differs from his previous roles in terms of the look and the way of speech in addition to the content itself.

The actor expressed his satisfaction with the fans` positive reactions that he has received because this work.

The actor pointed out that the character of "Khalil Al-Sawah" in Zelzal has many details that allowed him to do his best and study it well.

“I practiced the role`s dialect and I did not find it difficult; especially as I will present an upper Egyptian rule in my new series Bahr (sea), he said.

Zelzal resolves a story in the period of the 1992 earthquake; through the story of "Harbi" buys a house in installments from the "Khalil Al-Sawah."

Harbi, one of the characters, paid the last installment, demanding the registration of the house in his name and the renunciation of ownership. Khalil waited and delayed the registration until a devastating earthquake took place.

The buyer dies and the house collapses post the destructive force of the earthquake.

Khalil then refuses to hand over the piece of land on which the house was built to the heirs of the deceased. This creates a clash between the seller and Harbi`s son Mohamed.

The series is co-starred by Mohamed Ramadan, Maged El Masry, Hala Shiha, Mona Abd El Ghani, Nesreen Amin, Hanadi Muhanna, and others. It is written by Abdel Rahim Kamal and directed by Ibrahim Fakhr.
