Zelenskyy Says Russia Wants to Destroy Donbas

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian forces are trying to destroy Donbas.

"In Donbas, the occupiers are doing their best to destroy any life in that region. The constant brutal bombardments and the constant Russian strikes on infrastructure and residential areas show that Russia wants to empty this territory of all people," Zelenskyy said Saturday Morning in a video address to the nation.

As the bombing of Russia continued, the Ukrainian president expressed his gratitude for the support of the United States under the famous Lend-Lease Program, which will be useful in the war against Russia and against the Russian invaders.

Zelenskyy added, in his video address on Telegram, that the program of accelerating aid to Ukraine will help defeat the ideological successors of the Nazis, who started a war against Ukraine.
