Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the start of the counterattack by Kyiv forces, without specifying any additional details.

Zelenskyy said during a press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Kyiv that the Ukrainian troops began their counter-offensive against Russia, and they started carrying out defensive counter-attacks, “but I will not talk about the details and will not reveal at what stage we are, and I think we will all feel that ourselves.”

In the same vein, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced last Friday, the start of the Ukrainian counterattack, explaining that the Kyiv forces began to use their strategic reserves.

Sergey Naryshkin, the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, stated earlier that the West expanded the quantity and range of offensive weapons provided to Ukraine, as part of the anti-Russian policy of the United States and its allies, as part of their indirect war against it, which aims to destroy Russia and dismember it.
