Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that US will help train Ukrainian pilots and engineers to use the F-16 fighter jets.
In press statement, Zelensky said that he spoke with US President Joe Biden to discuss plans related to the planes.
"It was a good conversation, we discussed how to support freedom more, and we have a new important agreement represented in joining America to train pilots and engineers on F-16s," Zelensky added.
It is expected that this training will begin in October, according to the spokesman Pentagon spokesman Gen. Pat Ryder.
