Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the export of Ukrainian-manufactured weaponry may soon become a reality, signaling a significant shift in the country's defense industrial strategy.
Speaking via Al-Qahera News, Zelensky highlighted that Ukraine is actively seeking to exchange and integrate its home-grown military technology with the defense systems of international partners. He noted that the rigorous combat experience gained during the ongoing conflict has led to a surge in global interest in Ukrainian hardware and tactical expertise.
To safeguard sensitive military breakthroughs, the President confirmed that the government is compiling a "restricted list" of nations. This measure is intended to prevent the unauthorized leak of advanced Ukrainian military technology while allowing for strategic exports to trusted allies.
The move marks a potential transition for Ukraine from a primary recipient of international aid to a specialized provider of battle-tested defense solutions on the global stage.
