On Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he regretted his clash with US President Donald Trump.
He added that he aimed to "make things right", asserting that Kyiv was ready for negotiations.
Zelensky said he was ready to sign the rare minerals deal where he left the table with signing the deal after his clash with Trump in the Oval Office.
"None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians," Zelensky said in his statement on X.
"My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts."
