On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his upcoming visit to NATO headquarters "will be critical to our resilience this winter".
He explained that this visit is targeting ensuring Ukraine's protection this winter ahead with the continuation of the Russian-Ukrainian War.
The upcoming visit of Zelensky to the NATO headquarters is the first visit by the Ukrainian president to the NATO headquarters in Brussels since the beginning of the war.
Two weeks ago, Zelensky held a meeting with NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg in Kyiv.
The meeting between both officials as Ukraine is still seeking more support from the west during its war against Russia.
Zelensky said in a joint press conference with the NATO Chief: "(It is) a matter of time before Ukraine becomes a de jure member of the alliance. We are doing everything to bring this time closer."
