Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Czech Republic and Prime Minister Petr Fiala for supporting Ukraine on its path to EU membership during the Presidency of the European Union (EU) Council.
"We are grateful to the friendly Czech Republic and Prime Minister Petr Fiala for supporting Ukraine on its path to EU membership during the Presidency of the EU Council ," Ukrainian President tweeted.
Moreover, Zelensky added that the Ukrainians appreciate the preservation of the EU's unity and the unchanging solidarity with Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression.
It is worth noting that the Czech Republic handed over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union to Sweden on January 1.
