Zelensky Stars Trip to Albania

On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky started his visit to Albania. And he will attend a summit with the representatives and the leaders of the Western Balkan countries.

In addition, he will hold various bilateral meetings, Zelensky's office said.

Zelensky said in a statement"I will propose supporting Ukraine's efforts to achieve (a) just and lasting peace, as well as organizing the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland."

Zelenskiy is scheduled to meet Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, in addition to the leaders of Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Montenegro.

Albanian Foreign Minister Igli Hasani posted on X after the Ukrainian President's arrival: "A pivotal moment for fostering bilateral ties, and standing in solidarity with Ukraine in its heroic fight against Russia's aggression.
