.In a speech broadcast on the first day of a political conference in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky considered that Russia's threat to use nuclear weapons encourages the possession of this type of weapon, according to Agence France-Presse.

“They boast that they can destroy us with nuclear weapons,” he said in a speech broadcast on a large screen today (Saturday) in front of Gulf and international political officials, according to an English translation. “The bottom line is that each side will need nuclear weapons to protect itself from invasion.”

On Friday, Zelensky indicated that the Russian leadership had spent billions of dollars on propaganda. “You all know exactly the gigantic propaganda system that Russia has built,” he said in a video message.

Zelensky went on to say that Moscow did not take into account that these efforts do not guarantee a result.
