Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he held phone talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the phone call, both leaders discussed ways to ensure the operation of the grain corridor and means to enhance the security of the Odessa region.
"We also discussed ways to ensure the functioning of the grain corridor and enhance the security of the Odesa region," Zelensky said on 'X'.
"We also agreed to begin talks on bilateral security guarantees following the relevant G7 declaration. Our teams are tasked with moving forward," he added.
"I thanked France for taking the lead in implementing the Peace Formula. We discussed the Global Peace Summit, which needs to engage a broad number of countries, particularly those outside of Europe," Zelensky noted.
