Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to the Ukrainian news agency "Ukrinform," the meeting between the German and Ukrainian leaders took place at the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations.
Zelensky is expected to meet later with other world leaders, international organizations, and members of the U.S. Congress. The Ukrainian president will also deliver a speech at the "Summit of the Future" event.
