Zelensky Attends Javier Milei's Inauguration Ceremony in Argentine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Argentina on Sunday to attend the inauguration of newly elected Argentine President Javier Milei.

Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that Zelensky congratulated his Argentine counterpart on his election, according to a post on the social media platform X.

Zelensky said, "Today, I participated in the inauguration of Javier Milei in Buenos Aires and congratulated the new president. This is a new beginning for Argentina, and I wish President Milei and the entire Argentine people to surprise the world with their successes. I am also confident that bilateral cooperation and relations between Ukraine and Argentina will continue to expand."

The Ukrainian president had earlier arrived in Argentina, after stopping briefly in Cape Verde, where he met with its Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva
