Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Saturday that "a great deal" was discussed during the "constructive" talks held between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States in Abu Dhabi.
"A great deal was discussed, and it is important that the talks were constructive," Zelensky stated on social media following the conclusion of the meetings in the UAE capital.
"If there is a willingness to move forward, and Ukraine is ready, further meetings will be held, possibly as early as next week," he added.
"The primary focus of the discussions was on the potential parameters for ending the war. I greatly appreciate the recognition of the importance of American monitoring and oversight regarding the process of ending the war and ensuring actual security," Zelensky continued.
The Ukrainian President further explained that "the American side raised the issue of possible frameworks for consolidating the parameters of ending the war and the security conditions necessary for that."
