Mother of Zamalek's right back Hazem Emam said on Sunday that he tested positive for coronavirus.
The swab, taken from the player during the last days, came positive and he is now in self-isolation.
On her part, Emam's mother said that his health condition is stable and he abides to the Health Ministry protocol.
The White Knights' technicall staff is keen on following up the status of the player during the current period.
It is worth mentioning that Zamalek will face off Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League finals on November 27.
