The Egyptian Basketball Association received an official letter from FIBA, in which it announced that Zamalek team will participate in the FIBA Club World Cup.
The tournament will take place in February 2022 with the participation of four clubs.
The White Knights will enter this tournament as African representative, alongside Spain's Burgos, the European representative, Flamengo, who will represent South America continent, and Lakeland Magic as North America's champions.
Zamalek was crowned the African champion after defeating US Monastir in the final match, which held in May 2021.
