Zamalek's Abdallah Gomaa Recovers from Coronavirus

Zamalek announced on Tuesday that the White Knights' back left Abdallah Gomaa tested negative for coronavirus after almost 20 days of his infection.

Gomaa tested positive for COVID-19, ahead of Al Ahly's clash in the CAF Champions League finals, held at Cairo Stadium, where the White Knights suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils.

Zamalek's doctor Mohamed Osama said Gomaa's swab came negative ahead of the Whites' clash against Pyramids in the Egyptian Premier League.

Zamalek, who is the last year runner up, will face off Pyramids in the second round of the League as they gear up for the clash to complete its unbeaten start to the League.
