Zamalek officials have agreed to sell Hossam Abdel-Maguid, a player on the club's first team, in the coming period to generate revenue from the sale. This is especially relevant given Abdel-Maguid's strong desire to play abroad and fulfill his dream of playing in Europe.
Offers received for Abdel-Maguid will be reviewed, and the best deal for both the club and the player will be selected to maximize Zamalek's financial gain and ensure that Abdel-Maguid doesn't leave the team without any financial benefit from his sale.
Zamalek has set a price of $2.5 million for Abdel-Maguid's departure. Furthermore, the club has included a clause in his contract stipulating that Zamalek will receive $2 million should he return to the Egyptian league. This clause also aims to prevent Al-Ahly from acquiring him, as his move to Europe could be a stepping stone to joining the Red Devils.

Hossam Abdel-Maguid welcomed the renewal and extension of his contract with Zamalek, with the understanding that he would then leave to fulfill his dream, through the club, and to ensure financial benefit for the club. However, no meeting has been held with the player at present, as he is with the national team to participate in the Al Ain friendly tournament held in the UAE in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations.
