On Sunday, Zamalek interim committee headed by Hussein Labib decided in its emergency meeting to file complaints against Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly’s football director, and the Al-Ahly TV channel.
The decisions were as follows:
1- Filing a complaint to the Attorney General regarding the celebrations of Al-Ahly fans on the Galaa Bridge, during which, they have chanted insulting slogans for the club and team leader Mahmoud Abdel Razek, known as “Shikabala”
2- Submitting a complaint to the Football Association over unacceptable remarks by the director of football in Al-Ahly Club, Sayed Abdel Hafeez.
3- Submitting another complaint to the Supreme Media Council against Al-Ahly channel and director of one of the channel's talk shows for insulting Zamalek Club and the Egyptian Football Association.
4- Submitting a complaint to the Supreme Media Council against the Al-Ahly club website regarding recurrent violations against the Zamalek club.
5- Assigning the media council to form a permanent committee to document and monitor any abuses against Zamalek Club, and to take legal measures regarding all violators.
6- Assigning the legal department, in coordination with the media council, to provide all means of legal support to the media supporters of the club.
The White Knights are now topping the League’s table with 61 points, and they faced Misr Al Makasa on Monday in the quarter-final of the Egypt Cup as they secured a 2-0 win to reach the semi-final.
