Zamalek's general supervisor of football Amir Mortada Mansour on Saturday denied midfielder Ferjani Sassi's crisis' rumors.

In Statements to Zamalek channel, Amir said that Sasi's contract will expire with the White Knights at the end of the upcoming year.

"Sassi's agents said to a channel that the player postpones his contract's renewal because of the intense schedule of the Egyptian league, as well as, the CAF Champions League," Amir said.

The Tunisian international joined the White Knights in 2019 from Al-Nassr FC during the summer transfers.

Regarding loss of the Egyptian League title, Zamalek's general supervisor of football said that there are three reasons which prevent the Whites from winning this season's league.

"The three reasons are; the League suspension, Coronavirus pandemic, as well as, the lack of implementing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) from the beginning of the season," Amir concluded.
