Zamalek channel announced that the Transitional Committee appointed to manage the club affairs has refused to sign Ahmed Al Sheikh, the former Al Ahly player, despite the approval of the team's technical staff.

According to what the channel reported, the club's management rejected the idea of signing Ahmed Al Sheikh, despite the approval of the team's boss Jaime Pacheco, in order to "preserve the club's values".

Khaled Al Ghandour, prominent pesenter in the channel, said: "The Zamalek administration refused to sign Ahmed Al Sheikh, despite Pacheco's approval, in order to preserve the club's principles."

It is worth mentioning is that the Red Castle had announced that Al Sheikh was not registered in its list for the new season, thus becoming a free player and entitled to sign any team in a free transfer deal.

The White Knights have launched negotiations during the past hours with Al Sheikh, before the Transitional Committee refused to complete the deal.
