Zamalek Appeals to the Presidency After the October City Authority Withdraws Land

Hisham Nasr, Vice President of Zamalek, revealed that the decision by the October City Authority to withdraw the club's land in 6th of October raises questions, especially since Zamalek has submitted documents proving its position on the crisis surrounding the completion of construction work at the branch. He called for the intervention of the President of the Republic and the Cabinet to resolve the crisis.

Nasr said in press statements, "We appeal to the Presidency to intervene to resolve the crisis now, especially since we submitted a letter extending the legal deadline, scheduled for September of next year, in addition to a letter the club received last March from the October Authority stating that the deadline for completing work would end in December at the end of this year. This was extended by six months, bringing the deadline to June of next year."

Nasr pointed out that the October Authority, during the land withdrawal, noted that the decision was dated June 2025. If the decision was made two months ago, why did they allow us to contract with companies and implement construction work at the branch? He also questioned the reason for the presence of a force from the company during the implementation of the land withdrawal decision.

The Vice President of Zamalek concluded that the papers are legal and all the documents with Zamalek prove our position, so we demand the President to intervene, especially since the club’s branch in October is the last hope for Zamalek fans and a dream that millions of fans have been waiting for.
