Zakharova: Russia Never Threatens with Nuclear Weapon

Maria Zakharova, Russian spokesperson for Foreign Ministry said that the US accused Russia of the possibility of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

Russia said it has never threatened with nuclear weapons, but on the contrary, it warns everyone of such irresponsible actions.

“The Americans are seeking a number of goals by accusing Russia of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine. One of these goals is known - to intimidate its people,” Zakharova said on her “Telegram” Channel.

“Russia has never threatened not only with nuclear weapons but has warned all parties against such irresponsible actions, which does not satisfy Washington," she added.

Zakharova indicated that the US attempts to spread false news about Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov threatening to use nuclear weapons.
