A group of students from the Faculty of Engineering at Zagazig University succeeded in designing a "hydraulic car" that bears heavy weights to be implemented as a graduation project.

Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Sattar, one of the students implementing the project, said that the idea of the project was shared by his colleagues, Mahmoud Hamdy Abdel Aziz, Abdullah Adel Mohamed, Mahmoud El-Sayed Khairy, Mr. Essam El-Sayed, Akram Ibrahim El-Desouki, and Mohamed Rabie Abdel Moneim.

Abdel Sattar revealed that the project is a simulation of the hydraulic circuit in heavy equipment, and the circuit weakens the torque more than the normal car, as it bears high weights in a simple circuit, and that the matter in the ordinary car requires a very large and complex box gear and a larger engine.

He added that the production of the car took two and a half months to manufacture, at a cost of EGP 50,000.

The university contributed part of the amount and the students paid the other part.

He hopes that the implementation and design of the car will soon be carried out by companies interested in this field.
