The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, recently attended the first meeting of the Joint Steering Committee for the Strategic Framework for the Partnership between Egypt and the United Nations for Sustainable Development 2023-2027. The meeting was held after the official launch in May.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the progress achieved over the past year through joint efforts between various UN agencies, ministries, and national bodies.
This was done within the framework of the five axes of the new strategic framework of the partnership, namely enhancing human capital, achieving comprehensive and sustainable economic development, building resilience in the face of climate change, efficient natural resource management, governance, transparency, and effective participation, and comprehensive empowerment of women and girls.
