The preparations for the Ramadan 2020 drama marathon are underway, especially with the producers' desire to begin filming the participating series before the end of the year.

The next Ramadan arrives in April, earlier than this year, and the map for Ramadan series has become much clearer.

The drama marathon will witness a wide variety of topics presented, including drama, thriller, historical, sci-fi and action.

Egyptian actor, Youssef El Sherif's idea for his new TV series "The end" adds a new flavor to the Ramadan 2020 drama marathon.

The series is a Sci-fi genre and is set in a period far away from the present, traveling 100 years to the future, where its events lay in the year of 2120.

It will be written by Amr Samir Atef, directed by Yasser Samy, and produced by Synergy production company.

The series, co-starring Amr Abdel-Geleel, revolves around an engineer trying to tackle the technology that hit the world 50 years from now, however everything changes after he meets a robotic clone of himself.

The series witnesses El Sherif's return to Ramadan drama marathon, after two years of absence, as the actor's last participation in the drama marathon in 2017, with his TV series “Kafr Delhab”.
