Youssef Chaban's condition after contracting coronavirus

Veteran Egyptian actor Youssef Chaban has been hospitalized on Tuesday after contracting the coronavirus.

Head of the Actors’ Syndicate, actor Ashraf Zaki, gave an update about the veteran actor's latest health condition.

Zaki stated that Chaban was transferred to El Agouza Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

'The actor's condition is relatively unstable,' he added.

The actor's wife had also contracted the deadly virus. She is receiving treatment and in a stable condition.

As of February 23, the novel coronavirus infected over 111 million people and killed 2,470 others worldwide since it emerged in China in 2019.
