Yousra to Participate in Ramadan 2021 Drama Marathon

Veteran actress Yousra confirmed on Saturday her participation in the Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.

The actress revealed the first details of her upcoming TV series at the launch of Orange’s special new initiative and service, “Hareef Tamseel Trivia”, which took place on the sidelines of El Gouna Film festival, and comes as a part of Orange’s efforts to support young, local talent.

In collaboration with the iconic actress, the platform invites the network’s customers to film themselves acting out a scene from or inspired by Yousra’s work. They then upload it to the service’s dedicated website, where it will be displayed for the world to watch and vote on.

Each month, the two actors with the highest votes will be shortlisted, before Yousra chose one of them as the winner, who will get to star along with the iconic actress in her upcoming TV series for Ramadan 2021.

Talking about the series, Yousra revealed that it will be produced by Al-Adl Group, which she had presented previously many successful productions, and Synergy Company, owned by Tamer Morsi.

The series is written by Ahmed Adel and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz.

Yousra participated last Ramadan with TV series “Kayanat Ahd”.

It also stars Hala Shiha, Khaled Sarhan, Abeer Sabry, Hanady Mehanna, Anwar Khaled, and others.

It revolves around Ahd (Yousra), a mother of a boy called Hisham (Khaled Anwar), a middle-class woman who has a clothing factory. She has also two siblings, a brother (Khaled Sarhan), and a sister (Hala Shiha).
