Yoon Suk-yeol Suggests Meeting with Zelenskyy

South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol suggested holding a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy early after the Ukraine crisis, according to his spokeswoman on Wednesday.

The spokeswoman talked during a release press about the phone call between Zelenskyy and Yoon saying that President-elect Yoon conveyed his intention to discuss the ways of genuine cooperation between the two countries in the near future.

The spokeswoman commented on Zelenskyy’s tweet in which he thanked the South Korean people for supporting Ukraine and expressed his conviction of further fruitful cooperation, as she says the President-elect also expressed his desire for the two countries to meet as soon as the war ends to talk about ways to build practical cooperation.

Earlier, the president-elect expressed his support to Ukraine in its dispute with Russia.
