Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi cabled President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to express his sincerest condolences and solace over the victims of Toukh train accident.
The Yemeni president wished a speedy recovery to the injured, asking God Almighty to protect Egypt and its people from all harm.
On Sunday, The Governorate of Qalioubia announced in a statement that at least 103 people were injured after a train derailed in Egypt’s Qalioubia province north of Cairo.
20 ambulances rushed to the scene to transfer the injured people to hospitals.
Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and Kamel El Wazir, minister of transportation, went to Qalioubia Governorate to follow up on the health conditions of the injured in the hospitals.
On the other hand, Security and medical sources confirmed, that 8 were killed in the accident.
